Make an Appointment

Schedule an Appointment


If you have more than 10 items and can not make it on Walk-in Wednesday {more on that below} please schedule an appointment by calling the store. 

Bring us your best 35 items (refer to our  accepted brands list here) and we will sort them while you shop. Our number is 703.300.0060

{Appointments typically only take 20-30 minutes}.  


Consignment is SEASONAL. Typically mid-Jan through June is SPRING/SUMMER and mid July through Dec is FALL/WINTER. 

Please call the store to verify which season we are accepting if you have questions.


Due to high demand, appointments are usually taken 6-8 weeks in advance. Please plan accordingly especially if you have seasonal/holiday items. Note:  We are not able to accommodate walk-ins outside of walk-in Wednesdays. Scheduling appointments is how we manage our inventory and allow time to process the hundreds of items we receive weekly. Thank you for understanding.


Walk-in Wednesday


Walk-ins are welcomed on Wednesdays from 10-6 for 10 items or less. (NO more than 10 items PLEASE).

 It usually only takes a few minutes to look through your items, but wait times vary. Our busiest time is from 10a-11:30a. 

Due to space limitations we do not allow drop & runs.   

We try our best to process items same-day. However, due to large volume, items dropped off on Wednesday may take several days to process.

 You will receive an invitation to a Consigner Access Portal once your items are processed. This portal will allow you to monitor your items in real time.


Policies: 

  • We offer a payout of 40% of the sell price.  If you opt to use your credit in-store, you receive an additional 10% on your 40% for a total of 44%!
  • We will make every effort to sell your items at full price.  
  • After 60 days we markdown 50%. {We reserve the right to mark down at any time, including for special, in-store promotions}
  • Items expire after 90 days. If you wish to pick up your unsold items, please do so on or BEFORE your expire date. Please keep tract of your expire date as we will NOT contact you prior to your items expiring. 
  • Items left after their expire date will be donated to a local organization helping families resettle in the NoVa area).
  • Payouts are made in the month following your expire date. {For example, if your items expire August 8th, your payout is processed in September}. 
  • PayPal is our preferred payout method. {There are no PayPal fees associated with our payouts}. Otherwise, we can mail a check for a $2 processing fee. We do not allow checks to be picked up in-store.
  • We try very hard to inspect every item upon arrival. However if we find a damaged item after the fact, we will donate any item priced under $30. You will receive an email for higher tickets items asking if you would like to pick it up. We ask you come within two weeks or it will be donated.

Items We Accept

Clothing 


  • Girls and Boys: newborn thru tween (16) sized clothing and NB - 5Y shoes. 
  • All your favorite brands: Mini Boden, Hanna Andersson, Crewcuts, Tea, Lilly Pulitzer, Jacadi, Mayoral, Janie and Jack, Vineyard Vines, and of course, all the smocking!
  • Please refer to our BRAND-LIST for brands we LOVE and Brands we DO NOT accept.  
  • Clothing purchased within the last 5 years.  (many brands include a date on their tag, please check your items before bringing them in.
  • Freshly laundered, free of stains, wash wear, holes and rips. All zippers and buttons should be in working order. 
  • Ballet slippers, tap shoes, cleats in PERFECT condition and only at beginning of season.
  • Leotards in PERFECT condition and only at beginning of season


Gear 

(on a very limited basis. Please email or call the store to see 

if we are currently accepting big items). 

  • Strollers (especially doubles!), {Maclaren, UppaBaby, City Select, etc.} 
  • Carriers
  • Bouncy Seats {Baby Bjorn and 4 Moms but not Fisher Price}
  • Purchased within the last 5 years {Please check expiration dates}
  • Gear must be freshly laundered, odor free, in good working order, and have all original parts. Instructions are nice, but not necessary.
  • Must meet current Government Safety Standards. Please visit www.cpsc.gov to confirm your items have not been recalled 


Items we DO NOT accept:

Furniture | Given the limited space available in our store, we are unable to accept furniture pieces. 


Car Seats | Because of safety regulations, we are not able to accept car seats
